Problem Note 66504: Clicking a link to pass a group break value to a SAS® Web Report Studio report returns an HTTP 400 error
SAS Web Report Studio enables you to link reports based on a group break value. However, when you click the link, it might fail with an HTTP 400 error. The exact message you see depends on which browser you are using. For example, you might see an error that is similar to this in Microsoft Internet Explorer:
This error (HTTP 400 Bad Request) means that Internet
Explorer was able to connect to the web server, but the
webpage could not be found because of a problem with the
address.
Google Chrome might display an error that is similar to this:
This page isn’t working
If the problem continues, contact the site owner.
HTTP ERROR 400
This problem occurs only if the prompt in the target report was created in SAS Web Report Studio. As a workaround, you can link the group break to a predefined prompt from the information map. If you must use a custom prompt created in SAS Web Report Studio, then you can create the link on a report object instead of on the group break itself.
