Problem Note 66389: SAS® Forecast Studio does not open when you access it through SAS® Forecast Analyst Workbench
In SAS Forecast Analyst Workbench, SAS Forecast Studio might not open. This problem occurs when you click the Open in Forecast Studio icon in the Model Management view by performing these steps:
- Create and diagnose a forecast plan.
- Once the forecast plan is in a state of Forecasted, open the forecast in the Model Management workspace.
- In the wizard:
- Click the the SAS Forecast Studio option.
- Click Analyze.
- Complete all of the required information to create a modeling project and click OK.
- Change to the Modeling Workspace. Once the modeling project is in a state of Created, select the project and click the Open in SAS Forecast Studio icon from the toolbar.
To work around this issue:
- Launch SAS Forecast Studio from the client machine.
Note: SAS Forecast Studio should be installed already on the client machine.
- In the Projects window, select FAW as the environment.
- Double-click the project from the table to open it. You can now view and work on the project.
After you open the project and make any changes to it, you need to refresh the modeling project for the changes to reflect in the SAS Forecast Analyst Workbench modeling project.
