In certain situations, PNG graphics output might not be displayed correctly in SAS Studio. The graphics output is not displayed in the Results Viewer window and, in some cases, either a black X or the default "broken link" icon might be displayed. When this issue happens, no error or warning is written to the log.

This issue occurs due to security settings in the Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers. This issue does not occur in the Internet Explorer browser.

One way to circumvent the issue is to do the following:

1. In SAS Studio, click the "more application options" icon in the upper right-hand corner of your SAS Studio session. Select Preferences ► Results.
2. On the right-hand side, enable the following option: Generate HTML graphs as SVG. Then click Save.

Another way to circumvent the issue is to modify the sas.conf file in this location:
SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Web/WebServer/conf 

1. Change the following line:
   
   Header set Content-Security-Policy "default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval'"
   
   Add the highlighted text, as shown here:
   
   Header set Content-Security-Policy "default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval'; img-src 'self' data:"
    
2. Restart the web server after you modify the file.
