Problem Note 66000: Values might not be passed in an external link in SAS® Visual Analytics Viewer
A parameter might not get parsed in an external link under the following conditions:
- A SAS® Visual Analytics Report is open in SAS Visual Analytics Viewer.
- An external link contains a source parameter in a SAS Visual Analytics object.
This issue does not occur in SAS® Visual Analytics Designer.
For example, you encounter this issue when you complete steps similar to the following:
- You include the Country source parameter in an external URL.
- You click the object, and the URL sends you to this page in SAS Visual Analytics Designer:
https://support.sas.com/en/support-home.html/Japan
In Visual Analytics Viewer, it might incorrectly send you to this page:
https://support.sas.com/en/support-home.html/${pk531}
In this case, ${pk531} is the parameter key, which can be found in the SAS Visual Analytics Report XML.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
