Problem Note 65722: You cannot enter more than 35 characters in the "Description" field for a report

In SAS® Anti-Money Laundering 7.1, when you create a report from a case, you cannot use more than 35 characters in the Description field.

The steps to reproduce this issue are as follows:

  1. From your case, click Create Report.
  2. The Description field is automatically populated with the content of your case description. You can update the text in the field at this stage. 
  3. Choose a selection from the Report Type menu and click OK.

If you entered more than 35 characters in the Description field, you see the following error:

You have exceeded the maximum length of this entry field

The actual maximum length should be 100 characters (the size of the column in the underlying database).
