Problem Note 65509: SAS® Enterprise Guide® fails with an Application Error when opening two or more program files at once from Microsoft Windows Explorer
If you select two or more program files in Microsoft Windows Explorer, and then select Open with ►SAS Enterprise Guide 8.2, only one SAS Enterprise Guide session is started. The session that starts successfully contains one of the selected program files. The additional sessions fail with the following error:
The application has an internal error and needs to be closed

from the main UI thread.
System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file
'C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\8\History.xml'
because it is being used by another process.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
This issue does not affect SAS Enterprise Guide version 7.15.
