Problem Note 65413: SAS® Visual Analytics geo region maps do not display all custom regions when using an aggregated measure in the Color role
Hold for Fixed Release
SAS Visual Analytics geo region maps might not display all custom regions when using an aggregated measure in the Color role.
The geo region map might display this message:
Some regions in the map have multiple classification values. Only the first value is displayed.
This behavior occurs when using a custom polygon provider with a geo region map. This issue does not occur when using predefined polygons.
In the following display, the top geo region map uses a custom provider for North Carolina counties with a standard measure in the Color role. The bottom display uses the same geographic data item with a custom provider as the top geo map. In this case, an aggregated measure is assigned to the Color role. As you can see, all regions are not displayed.
A workaround for non-hierarchical data items is to create an aggregated data source, and then specify the (pre-aggregated) standard measure on the geo map. There is no immediate geomapping workaround for when displaying a geographic hierarchy on the geo region map.
