Problem Note 65313: You are unable to download a file successfully from SAS® Studio

In SAS® Studio 3.8 or 4.4, if you right-click a file in the Server Files and Folders section of the navigation pane and choose to download it, nothing happens and you are not able to download the file. Clicking the download file icon in the top menu does not work either. 

In some cases, if you are able to download the file, the downloaded file is empty and does not contain data, or it is unreadable.

This problem occurs when the Apache HTTP Server has been upgraded to Version 2.4.39 or higher. 

A workaround is to use an external file transfer method to move the file from the server to your local computer.
