Usage Note 65238: The error "The diagram execution could not be started..." occurs when you run a flow in SAS® Enterprise Miner™

When you run a flow in SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the following error might occur:

The diagram execution could not be started.
Please make sure all necessary services are enabled and running on the server.

The error occurs when you use the SAS® Deployment Wizard to create an additional workspace server, but you do not follow the required manual post-installation steps.

After the server is added, complete these manual post-installation steps.
- Log on to SAS® Management Console with the sasadm@saspw account.
- Select Application Management ► Configuration Manager ► SAS Application Infrastructure ► Web Infrastructure Platform Services 9.4 ► Job Execution Services. In the JobExecutionService Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.
- In the Configure Execution Queues from Available Server Contexts section, move the new workspace server from the Available text box to the Selected text box.
- Clear the check from the check box next to Enable for interactive execution?.
- Restart SAS Remote Services, the web application server, SASServer1_#, and SASServer11_# (if they exist).
