Problem Note 65218: A CSV file that contains multi-line or single-line text separated by commas is not imported properly in SAS® Business Data Network 3.3
Importing CSV files for SAS Business Data Network 3.3 is not working properly when the files contain either the attribute type Multi-Line Text or the attribute type Single Line Text, and commas are used in the text values.
For example, if a Multi-Line Text type attribute contains the values "mlte1,mlte2, mlte3;mlte4; mlte5", the messages about the import process appear as follows in the SASBusinessDataNetwork.log:
addOtherAttributes: attribute label 'mlte' with value 'mlte1' added as COMMON
attribute for term 1001106.
. . .
addOtherAttributes: attribute label 'mlte' with value 'mlte2' added as CUSTOM
attribute for term 1001106.
. . .
addOtherAttributes: attribute label 'mlte' with value 'mlte3;mlte4; mlte5' added
as CUSTOM attribute for term 1001106.
The UI shows that only the first value that appears before the comma is captured.
