When you configure the SAS Deployment Backup and Recovery tool to use a central vault with SAS^® 9.4M6 (TS1M6) software for Microsoft Windows, a backup might fail. 

When this problem occurs, examine the SASDeploymentBackup9.4.log file (in the SAS-configuration-directory\Levn\Web\Logs\SASServer1_X directory). In the file, an error was recorded at the time that the backup failed. The error is similar to the following:

The java.exe process terminated unexpectedly in the SAS Deployment Agent.  If you check the Windows Application Event log at the time that the backup failed, you see an Event ID 1000. The event log reports issues with java.exe and the ntdll.dll module with the exception code 0xc0000374, as in the example below. The paths and other details that are shown in this event log are system-specific and can vary:

An Event ID 100 is also logged for the SAS Deployment Agent, with the following information:

To work around this problem, remove the central vault configuration for the backup.
