The Report Images service handles the generation and sharing of images and thumbnails from SAS^® Visual Analytics reports. This service is part of the Host service reportservicesgroup, as shown in the following display: 

The Report Images service can encounter an out-of-memory condition during routine database maintenance. Because the Report Images service is one of several services that make up the  reportservicesgroup host service, all of the services that are part of that host service can fail, and require a restart.
