In SAS Visual Analytics, the New Hierarchy dialog box displays only the first 100 data items for Available items.  There is no way to access category data items not listed in the Available items window.

One workaround is to create another report data source with no more than 100 category data items.

Another workaround is to use the Data pane to rename the data item that you want to include in the hierarchy. For example, add the prefix A_ to the name of the data item. This forces the data item to the top of the Available items list in the New Hierarchy dialog box. After the data item has been included in the hierarchy, you can modify the name again as needed.
