Problem Note 65622: SAS® Visual Analytics Viewer does not retain sort order on crosstab measures after filter values are changed
SAS Visual Analytics Viewer might not retain the sort order applied to measures in a crosstab after filter values are changed. For example, the following display shows a report with a button bar in the report prompt area, and a descending sort applied to the MPG (Highway) measure for the All value under DriveTrain. Currently, no selection has been made on the button bar.
When the All value is selected in the button bar, the MPG (Highway) measure is still sorted in descending order.
However, when the filter selection is changed to Front, the MPG (Highway) measure is no longer sorted in descending order. Instead, the crosstab now displays the Make category in ascending order.
Currently, the only workaround is to manually re-sort the column after filter values are changed.
