Problem Note 65543: Importing an .spk file that contains tables to SAS® Viya® 3.4 in SAS® Environment Manager fails to complete

When you attempt to import an .spk file that contains one or more tables in SAS Viya 3.4 through the Import Wizard, the import process might stop responding during mapping and fail to return.

In this scenario, the web browser console contains the following message:

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 2 of the JSON
data[Learn More] sap-ui-core.js line 81 > eval:2:11003

To work around this issue, use the command line interface to perform the import. For more information, see SAS® Viya® 3.4 Administration: Promotion (Import and Export) - Promotion: How to Import (Command-Line Interface).
