In SAS Visual Analytics, you can use certain shortcuts to gather diagnostic information such as performance statistics (CTRL+ALT+P) and to view the report XML (CTRL+ALT+B). Typically, you use these tools only as directed by SAS Technical Support.

If you apply the January 2020 updates to your SAS Visual Analytics 8.3.1 environment, the SAS Visual Analytics diagnostic tools no longer function. Instead, you might encounter the following behavior:

• In edit mode, the diagnostic window does not appear, and a white block appears in the application banner. 
• In view mode, the diagnostic window does not appear, and an error pops up:
