Problem Note 65465: The map image in SASĀ® Visual Investigator might display the location of a second opened object after you return to viewing the first object
When you open two objects with the Map control and view both of them, the map image displays the location of the second object after you return to viewing the first object.
The following steps can demonstrate this problem:
- Insert a Map control on the View page of an entity.
- Search for Object A and Object B, which are in different locations.
- Open Object A and observe the map image with the location marker.
- Then open Object B and observe the map image with the location marker.
- Switch back to Object A by clicking on its tab. However, you see that the page displays the map image for Object B, and the location marker disappears.
The expected behavior is that the correct map area and location marker appear on the relevant object tab.
