Problem Note 65078: SAS® Enterprise Case Management does not respond properly when disallowed file uploads are blocked
SAS Enterprise Case Management does not respond properly when disallowed file uploads are blocked. Although the blocked file types are not uploaded into SAS® Content Server, it might appear within SAS Enterprise Case Management that the files were, in fact, uploaded.
- Apply the appropriate SAS Web Infrastructure Platform for your version of SAS. Click the Hot Fix tab to access the available hot fixes.
- See the Filter Files by Extension and MIME Type documentation to create a blacklist of blocked content types.
- Restart SASServer1_1. (See Understanding SAS Web Application Server Management for reference.)
- Update SAS Enterprise Case Management, as follows,to use the appropriate JAR file that you obtain in step 1.
- Make a backup of the sas.svc.core.jar file that resides in the SAS-configuration-directory/LevN/Web/WebAppServer/SASServer8_1/sas_webapps/sas.solutions.casemgmt.war/WEB-INF/lib/ directory.
- Copy the file sas.svc.core.jar from SASHOME/SASVersionedJarRepository/eclipse/plugins/sas.svc.core_904301.12.0.20190522141508_v940m3f to SAS-configuration-directory/LevN/Web/WebAppServer/SASServer8_1/sas_webapps/sas.solutions.casemgmt.war/WEB-INF/.
- Restart SASServer8_1.
Then, when you attempt to upload blacklisted file types, you should receive an error from SAS Enterprise Case Management.
