Problem Note 64999: New sessions spawn slowly in SAS® Grid Manager, and Audit.Authentication messages appear in the SAS® Workload Orchestrator log
Spawning a new session through SAS® Enterprise Guide® or SAS® Studio takes a longer time than expected.
The issue is encountered in environments where the authentication provider takes a few seconds to answer instead of milliseconds.
In the SAS Workload Orchestrator log, you might see repeated lines that are similar to the following, and the lines occur multiple times for each new session:
2019-10-23T10:56:18,371 TRACE [00000022] Audit.Authentication (TKPOSbksecure.c:824) - Unix OS auth provider called for user sasdemo
