Problem Note 64988: The APPSRV_UNSAFE function does not return the correct value when a SAS® Stored Process parameter value contains semicolons
In SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6), the APPSRV_UNSAFE function does not return the correct value when a SAS Stored Process parameter value contains semicolons. The function returns blank characters rather than semicolons.
For example, if the parameter value aaa;bbb is passed to the SAS® Stored Process Server, the APPSRV_UNSAFE function returns the value aaa bbb.
The following code illustrates this behavior, for example, when you submit a request with a parm1 parameter that contains a semicolon:
data _null_;
p = appsrv_unsafe('parm1');
putlog p=;
run;
