While you perform an uninstallation of SAS 9.4 by using SAS Deployment Manager, the uninstall process might fail with the following pop-up error message:
The reason that this error occurs is because SAS Deployment Manager is trying to unregister SAS.exe, which no longer exists because it was removed during the uninstall process.
Also, when you run the uninstall process in silent mode, SAS Deployment Manager can stop without displaying any error. The same problem with the SAS.exe file is occurring.
The following information can appear in the IT_date-stamp_uninstall.log file, which is located in C:\Users\user-ID-that-installed-SAS\AppData\Local\SAS\SASDeploymentWizard\:
A temporary workaround is to run the uninstall process again. The process completes successfully the second time.
