Problem Note 64947: A SAS® Studio clone repository action returns the error "Return code from GIT is (12). unsupported URL protocol"

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

SAS® Studio 3.8 enables you to clone a repository through the user interface. If the remote repository URL has ssh:// before the user name, the clone function fails and you receive the following error message:

For example, the repository name git@company.com/example/repo.git works, but the repository name ssh://git@company.com/example/repo.git generates the error.

The workaround is to use the GITFN_CLONE function to clone the repository in the code editor.
