Problem Note 64938: Changing the objective value is not kept when re-opening a scenario in SAS® Marketing Optimization
When you change the objective in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio (by selecting Optimization Scenarios), the change is not retained when you re-open the scenario. This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:
- Select Optimization Scenario ► Objective and change the objective. For example, change it to Minimize as shown below:
- Save and close the scenario.
When you re-open the scenario, the objective reverts back to Maximize:
There is no workaround for this issue. You just need to ensure that you use the correct objective from the beginning, especially when you change anything else inside the scenario.
