The calendar control available with sliders might make incorrect suggestions about valid date ranges.
For example, suppose that your SAS Visual Analytics report contains a slider with the data item Month assigned to the role. The slider range is from Mar2013 to Jun2015, as shown in the following display:
You use the calendar control to change the date to a month that is not within the slider's range. For example, you select December 2015. An error message warns you that the month is not valid, and it suggests a different range. However, sometimes the suggested range is also not valid. For example, in the following display, the suggestion says that you can specify a date from Feb2013 to May2015, even though the valid range for the slider is Mar2013 to Jun2015.
The slider still works normally when you select a valid range.
