Problem Note 64830: You are unable to save Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) subject information in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering if a subject ID number contains asterisks
When you populate the section 18 Form of identification for subject in a SAR, you receive the following error message if you enter an ID number that includes asterisks (such as a driver's license ID number for a resident of Washington State):
This field must contain no special characters.
However, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) considers asterisks to be valid characters for identification numbers.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The error message "This field must contain no special characters" appears when you include asterisks in the "ID Number" field.
