Usage Note 64811: There are new fields in TYPE30 interval data that identify IEFIIC as the program with the highest CPU
In z/OS 2.1, IBM added the following two new fields to the TYPE30 interval data:
- SMF30_Highest_Task_CPU_Program
- SMF30_Highest_Task_CPU_Percent
The CPU_Program field most commonly reported against IEFIIC and the CPU_Percent field reported as 0.
This problem is not a SAS or MXG issue. The data is read in properly. The underlying data is where it is stored in this manner. When the JOB execution spans an interval, this type of entry can be created. For reporting purposes, it is probably best to throw out records reporting the program as IEFIIC.
This SAS Note is making sites aware of this behavior in case they are using this data for reporting. If you have questions about this data, you should contact IBM support.

fixed.
