Correspondent banking scenarios in SAS Anti-Money Laundering can create duplicate alerts. Also, not all triggering transactions for alerts that are generated are recorded as such.
Correspondent banking scenarios (SAS10601 through SAS10606) use an incorrect date check in their implementation code. The result of the incorrect date check is that the scenarios execute during the Alert Generation Process (AGP) on days that they should not. This problem results in duplicate alerts being created from transactions that already were responsible for creating an alert.
