Problem Note 64548: You delete a table from a query in Visual Programmer mode in SAS® Studio, but the table is still on the screen and does not seem to have been deleted
You attempt to delete a table in a query while you are in Visual Programmer mode in SAS Studio. The table is deleted, but it still appears on the screen. The user interface does not refresh automatically to demonstrate that the table is deleted.
The following example demonstrates this issue:
- You create a process flow with two queries.
- The first query contains two tables.
- You right-click one of the tables and choose to delete it. You then see the following dialog box:
Are you sure you want to delete the selected nodes or links from name-of-process-flow?
- After you select Delete, no feedback is given in the user interface, and the table remains visible in the query.
The workaround is to close and then reopen the query. Then, the table that you deleted is no longer visible.
