Problem Note 64543: The message "ERROR: Recursive Segmentation Violations" appears in the SAS® log after you run code with incorrect syntax

An option that is incorrectly included in procedure code results in the following error message, and the application might crash:
ERROR: Recursive Segmentation Violations
The following is an example of code that can generate this error:
proc print data=sashelp.cars;
option(sheet_name='South Pacific Summary';
run;
option(sheet_name='South Pacific Summary';
run;
Although the syntax is incorrect, it should not result in a segmentation violation. A different message in the log should indicate that there is an issue with using the OPTIONS suboption, which is only valid for Output Delivery System (ODS) statements.
