When calculating the start date of a time period (which can happen when creating a time hierarchy or load data) in SAS Risk and Finance Workbench, you might encounter the following exception:

The issue occurs when you calculate the start date of a time period on a date that contains a time change because of daylight saving time. You encounter this issue when you use a date within a time period determined by a period type like MONTH. Note that the issue occurs only in time zones in which the time change occurs at midnight.
