In promoted SAS Visual Analytics reports, the line style on line graphs might unexpectedly change from solid to dashed. As a workaround, perform these steps:

1. Open the Options pane for the report.
2. Under Style, change the Data element style rotation option depending on the current setting:
   • If the option is set to Rotate all colors first, then change this option to Rotate all attributes, and then back to Rotate all colors first.
   • If the option is set to Rotate all attributes, then change it to Rotate all colors first. 

Typically, this workaround changes all line styles to solid. You cannot specify that only some lines should be dashed. There is no workaround for that issue.

This problem occurs for both standard line charts and custom line charts.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue for custom charts. The fix addresses this issue during the promotion process. For that reason, you must promote the reports again after the hot fix is applied.

For standard line charts, you must continue to use the workaround.
