Problem Note 64415: Validation of a campaign flow in SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager fails with an error when corrupted Filter nodes are in the decision flow
A validation of a SAS Real-Time Decision Manager campaign flow fails, generating the following error:
Error executing method in SAS Decision Services design server. Please check the design server log for details.
This problem happens when corrupted filter nodes are present in the decision flow. One way to find these corrupt filter nodes is as follows:
- Open the properties for the filter node.
- Clear the Create output cell for remainder check box.
- Click OK.
A corrupt Filter node does not allow you to clear the check box in the properties, whereas a fully functioning node does allow it. When you try to clear that check box for a corrupt Filter node, you receive the following error:
An error has occurred. See the log files on node [Node details] for details.
To work around this problem, replace any corrupt Filter nodes with new Filter nodes.
