Problem Note 64316: The FILENAME URL statement stops responding and generates a segmentation violation when you use a URL that redirects

If you use the FILENAME URL statement with a URL that redirects, the statement does not run successfully and a segmentation violation similar to the following is generated:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.

If you are using a client such as SAS® Studio or SAS® Enterprise Guide®, the code stops responding and you have to terminate the session. In this scenario, the error information above is written to the workspace server log if workspace server logging is turned on.
