SAS Model Implementation Platform might generate a transition matrix incorrectly when you rebuild it from an existing matrix. The rebuilt transition matrix might incorrectly contain additional states that are lowercase versions of the previous states.
For example, assume that a model group contains 9 models and a 3x3 transition matrix with states “A," “AA,” and ”AAA.” When you disassociate a model and then select Generate transition matrices of the type "model" to rebuild the matrix, the resulting transition matrix might be incorrect. When you view the transition matrix, you might see a 6x6 matrix with states “A,” “AA,” ”AAA,” “a,” “aa,” and “aaa.”
