In SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning, errors might be displayed when you run a pipeline.

The problem occurs when these conditions are true.

• You are using a pipeline that was created from SAS^® Visual Analytics before upgrading to SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning 8.4.
• The pipeline uses a derived target-variable.
• The pipeline contains a modeling node that generates an ASTORE file.

To work around the problem after upgrading, follow these steps.

1. Re-create the tasks in SAS Visual Analytics.
2. Run the pipeline in SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning.
