Problem Note 64601: A SAS® Data Integration Studio job that contains the Merge transformation might be incorrect when it is opened in the Job Editor window
A SAS Data Integration Studio job that contains the Merge transformation might be incorrect when it is opened in the Job Editor window. The issue occurs when a subquery is included as part of the configuration for the Merge transformation. Transformations and connectors are missing in the process flow diagram when the job is opened.
In addition, you might see an error in the DataIntegrationStudio_Log.txt file that is similar to the following:
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.ClassCastException:
com.sas.etl.models.job.transforms.sql.impl.SubqueryTargetTable cannot be cast to
com.sas.etl.models.data.IPhysicalTable
The log file is in this location, and user-id is the user ID that is logged in to the machine:
C:\Users\user-id\AppData\Roaming\SAS\SASDataIntegrationStudio\4.7
