Problem Note 64584: The message "ERROR: General error ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied" occurs when you use a caslib to connect to Oracle

When using a caslib to connect to Oracle with the SAS® Data Connector to Oracle, you might receive the following error:

ERROR: General error ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied

This issue happens when RADIUS is configured to connect to the Oracle database. SAS Data Connector to Oracle passes double quotation marks around the password to RADIUS. Due to the quotation marks, RADIUS does not see the password as valid and generates the error.
