SAS^® Data Integration Studio generates incorrect code when the Set Operators transformation is used while the Set Pass Through to yes for new SQL transformations option is enabled. 

The code is generated using implicit pass-through.

The Set Pass Through to yes for new SQL transformations option is set via Tools ► Options ► Job Editor Tab. This selection activates the option at the job level for any new jobs that are created in SAS Data Integration Studio. 

The workaround is to enable the use of the SQL procedure pass-through by using the option within the Set Operators properties. 

To use the option, take these steps:

1. Right-click the Set Operators transformation.
2. Open the Properties window.
3. Select the Options tab.
4. Click Database pass-through.
5. Select Yes in the Pass through drop-down menu.
