Usage Note 64500: A connection to the SAS® Viya® compute server fails with the message "The compute server process terminated unexpectedly" when a launch delay occurs

A connection to the compute server can fail when there is a delay in launching the compute server process.The following error is returned by SAS^® Studio V when this issue occurs:

Unable to create compute server session.

The compute server process terminated unexpectedly.

To ensure that you are encountering this issue, check the following logs.

Check the ComputeServer log for the following errors:

Check the tklauncher log for a delay in the launching of the process:

There is a 30 second time to live (TTL) on the wrapped token in the vault that is expiring. Run the following commands to increase the TTL to a value in seconds that is longer than the delay. The value should have an "s" appended to it (for example, 120s).
