Problem Note 64417: In-database procedures require engine-specific definitions for SQL syntax requirements
In-database procedures, such as the RANK and SORT procedures, require engine-specific definitions in order to handle the SQL syntax requirements that are specific for that engine. This requirement can cause issues when new engines are delivered.
In future releases, new engines are dynamically registered with in-database procedures.
