Problem Note 64126: "ERROR...Insufficient information to connect to the data source" occurs when you use the SAS® option CONOPTS= with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Greenplum

You encounter an issue when you use connection statements to Greenplum that use CONOPTS= with explicit pass-through syntax such as CONNECT TO or CONNECT USING. Connections that require more information to connect might fail to read the information given in the CONOPTS= option. For example, you encounter the issue when you submit code similar to the following:
connect to greenplm(server="server-name" port=5432 database=db conopts="ValidateServerCertificate=0");
...
quit;
After you run the code, you see errors similar to the following:
ERROR: Unable to connect to the database
To work around the issue, add the connections options in the odbc.ini file and use a DSN.
