SAS Visual Analytics on SAS Viya might return the following error when you attempt to register a custom polygon provider using an Esri ArcGIS feature service: 

There is no workaround for this issue when using an Esri ArcGIS feature service.  As an alternative, you could generate an Esri .shp file, and then import the Esri .shp data into a SAS^® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) server.
