Problem Note 64008: Defining selection groups within custom details in SAS® Customer Intelligence accidentally requests a value
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you can define custom details by using selection groups. Inside the selection group, you can define non-required and required custom-detail fields as shown below:
You can use this custom detail in a treatment, campaign, communication definition, or a custom-detail group, as shown in this example:
However, the execution of the campaign fails, and the following dialog box is displayed. This message states that you need to enter a value for the field.
At the same time, the following error message is shown in the SASCustIntelCore6.x.log:
2019-04-09 11:51:18,031 ERROR [CIAsyncExec-9] [991bc5e8487a0ee3:276dab75:16a00f758c5:2ff2] [sasdemo] com.sas.analytics.crm.flow.MAFlow - Exception executing campaign Test on background session with SID 991bc5e8487a0ee3:276dab75:16a00f758c5:2ff2: null
This problem happens only when the selection group is embedded with other custom-detail elements.
