In SAS Visual Analytics on SAS Viya, some aggregation actions and queries might perform worse than the same actions do in SAS Visual Analytics 7.x on SAS^® 9.4. For example, complex periodic functions might not perform as well in SAS Viya as they do in previous releases. 

A hot fix is available for SAS Viya 3.4. Click the Hot Fix tab in this note for a link to instructions about accessing and applying the software update.

The hot fix provides overall enhancements and improvements to how aggregation actions are calculated and processed.
