Problem Note 63799: Temporary CAS tables created by SAS® Visual Analytics are not automatically unloaded from the SAS® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) server
Beginning with SAS Visual Analytics 8.3, you can create new tables within a SAS Visual Analytics report by either joining two or more CAS tables together, or by creating new aggregated tables. These tables are created in your personal CAS library. The tables have names that begin with _VA_, and they are visible when you view loaded tables, as shown in the following display:
When you close the report, log off, or close the browser session, these tables should be automatically dropped from the CAS server.
However, the temporary tables might not be unloaded from the CAS server in some circumstances. For example, they are not unloaded if your browser session times out, and you are returned to the SAS® Logon screen or you are given the option to Return to Application. Because the tables are in your personal CAS library, administrators cannot see them or unload them.
To work around this issue, the administrator can stop and then restart the CAS server, or the user who created the tables can unload the tables individually. As shown in the following display, you would right-click on the table and select Unload:

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Temporary tables that are created by joining two or more CAS tables or by creating new aggregated tables might not be unloaded from the CAS server in some circumstances. Specifically, this problem can occur if your browser times out. One workaround is to stop and then restart the CAS server.
