Problem Note 63527: SAS® Visual Analytics displays "An error occurred: com.sas.cas.CASException" and "The data has no points" when zooming in on a geo map

When zooming in on a geo map in SAS Visual Analytics, you might encounter the following error:

An error occurred. com.sas.cas.CASException: The data has no points, or
all points were filtered away.

5 ERROR: The data has no points, or all points were filtered away.
5 ERROR: The action stopped due to errors.

This error is shown in the following display:

This error can appear when you take the following steps:

  1. You apply a filter on the map by choosing a value from a control object.
  2. You zoom in on the map to a point where there is no data showing.

To resolve this error, you might need to clear filters by re-setting the prompts.
