Problem Note 63524: The PROC S3 PUT statement fails with a segmentation violation or write thread errors

The PROC S3 PUT statement can fail under various conditions, and the errors that you see can vary widely. Two possible errors are shown below.
You can encounter a segmentation violation that contains a traceback similar to the following:
