Usage Note 63488: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.1 - Chrome prompt for 'download location setting' must be enabled in order to successfully download a job file
In SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.1, if Chrome is being used as the active browser client, users must ensure the setting to "Ask where to save each file before downloading" is set in order to guarantee successful downloads of all file types, specifically .job file types.
Without the setting enabled, downloads of .job file types are not guaranteed, despite there being an audit record cut and action status reporting the download is successful.
One workaround to avoid changing the Chrome setting is to download the .job file as part of a zip package. For example, select the job you would like to download and at least one other file, click download and a zip file will be created in your download folder. From there the user may save the file to any desired target location.
