Problem Note 63393: An "Unexpected next character . . ." error occurs when an "Additional details" data grid contains column names in Hebrew in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS® Anti-Money Laundering 7.1, when Hot Fix A5T001 or a later hot fix is installed, an Additional details section can be configured to include extra data fields and grids.

When a data grid includes a column name in Hebrew, an error message appears when both of these conditions are true:

  • You expand the Additional details section.
  • You then perform an action, such as a sort, on the column that has a column name in Hebrew.

For example, for the Gender column, translated into Hebrew as מגדר, you see an error message in the UI that is similar to the following:

AML: [$parse:lexerr] Lexer Error: Unexpected next character at columns 9-9 [מ] in expression [dataItem.מגדר]. http://errors.angularjs.org/1.4.7/$parse/lexerr?p0=Unexpected%20next%20character%20&p1=s%209-9%20%5B%D7%9E%5D&p2=dataItem.%D7%9E%D7%92%D7%93%D7%A8

There is no workaround. This error does not prevent the page from being displayed correctly. You can ignore this message.
