Problem Note 63380: Forecast Studio Project tasks might fail with the error "No HPF Forecast Server is defined in the active metadata repository..."

In SAS® Add-in for Microsoft Office, or SAS® Enterprise Guide® in an SSL/TLS enabled environment, Forecast Studio Project tasks might fail. Examples: "Forecast Studio Create Project" and "Forecast Studio Open Project". The following error is displayed:
No HPF Forecast Server is defined in the active metadata repository. Please contact your administrator.
When you click the Exception tab of the error dialog box, the following exception is displayed:
No certificate was selected.

This error occurs because the SAS middle-tier looks for client SSL certificate(s) and rejects TLS 1.2 client connections. For details, see SAS Note 61498: "SAS® Enterprise Guide® and SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office continuously prompt for a Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificate".
To resolve the issue, apply the applicable SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office or SAS Enterprise Guide hot fix from the Hot Fix tab of SAS note 61498.
